A couple of weeks ago, Nicki and Dan became parents for the first time. I had the honor of meeting and photographing baby Ava at one week old and oh my goodness, MELT!! This tiny little babe was so alert, so strong, and blessed us with some funny moments. She is a force of nature already! Here’s a tiny peek at her casual in-home newborn session.
It has been a long time since a parent has reached out to me on behalf of a couple during the planning process. Paul, Nicole’s dad, was the sweetest and you could totally hear the excitement in his voice as he filled me in on the details of Nicole & Michael’s wedding plans. More than that, you could hear how much he loved his daughter and how awesome a pair these two would make. And after meeting them in person, they felt like fast friends and family.
I was so honored to capture their big day and I had so much fun with them location hopping between their church, the schenectady Rose Garden, and Daley’s on Yates. The energy at their reception was palpable and it was so touching to see them surrounded by LOVE. (Read: I cried… Meredith cried… and I may have gotten teary all over again posting this sneak peek…)
Here’s a tiny peek at their wedding day.
Sometimes life likes to test you- to make the seemingly simple become an endless maze of tasks to navigate before you reach your destination. This was the case for Tiffany & Joseph.
They began their elopement planning as any other couple, happily sorting out little details along the way until their vision was perfectly fleshed out. And then the first domino fell. Their venue fell through; their officiant fell ill; thunder and lightning threatened to cancel their mountaintop plans; and the governor stole their last location!
They persevered and with a little (literal) help from my friend, Meredith, who performed their ceremony at the last minute ( THANK YOU!!!), these two lovebirds said I do in a private ceremony by a waterfall’s edge while their 3 children looked on. They made it!!
Here’s a tiny peek at their day.
I met up with Jessica and Chad last week to photograph their engagement session on beautiful Lake George.
We completely lucked out with some gorgeous weather and had a fun time strolling on the beach at Shepard’s Park, walking the pier, and exploring the grounds of Top of The World Gold Golf Resort.
We definitely shared some laughs ( sometimes I say funny things ) and loved taking in those the amazing views. I cannot wait to capture their Big Day in photos!
Here’s a tiny peek at their session. Enjoy!
It was such a pleasure to meet up with Suzanne and Matt on Friday. We had the perfect early summer evening (despite the mosquitos!) and the grounds of Yaddo were virtually all to ourselves.
We shared lots of laughs (especially after Matt did finger guns and belly pointing) and I had so much fun capturing this special time for them. Baby is due in only a couple of weeks!! So exciting! Here’s a peek at their session.
Guys… I already love what I do, SO much, but when I was invited to document a traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony, I kind of squealed with joy!
Angel & Ricky took over The Mansion inn for their intimate family affair. Their theme and attire was a nod to 1920’s Shanghai with so many details celebrating Angel’s Chinese heritage. The aroma of Chef Rick’s artfully prepared traditional Chinese cuisine filled the air while family and friends gathered round bamboo dotted cocktail tables, laughing, hugging, and sharing moments together.
Here’s a tiny peek at their day. Enjoy!
Much love! TM

Brittani and Charlie are two love birds who trace their romance back to their early teens. For this adorable couple, summers by the lake created a lifelong love.
Last week, Brittani & Charlie tied the knot in Schroon Lake, the town they first met. The celebration continued at their house on the lake, surrounded by their closest friends and family. I can't think of a more perfect or romantic way to say 'I Do'.
Congratulations and here's to a lifetime of happiness!
So I love these guys so much, I'm really not sure what to say... They have huge hearts, good souls, and sometimes, they're even funny. It is impossible to narrow down a small selection of images for a proper preview, so I've focused on Holly & Joe as a couple for now, leaving the images capturing family bonds for them to view in their gallery. Here's a tiny snapshot of their Down East Maine wedding.
