Sometimes life likes to test you- to make the seemingly simple become an endless maze of tasks to navigate before you reach your destination. This was the case for Tiffany & Joseph.
They began their elopement planning as any other couple, happily sorting out little details along the way until their vision was perfectly fleshed out. And then the first domino fell. Their venue fell through; their officiant fell ill; thunder and lightning threatened to cancel their mountaintop plans; and the governor stole their last location!
They persevered and with a little (literal) help from my friend, Meredith, who performed their ceremony at the last minute ( THANK YOU!!!), these two lovebirds said I do in a private ceremony by a waterfall’s edge while their 3 children looked on. They made it!!
Here’s a tiny peek at their day.
Guys… I already love what I do, SO much, but when I was invited to document a traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony, I kind of squealed with joy!
Angel & Ricky took over The Mansion inn for their intimate family affair. Their theme and attire was a nod to 1920’s Shanghai with so many details celebrating Angel’s Chinese heritage. The aroma of Chef Rick’s artfully prepared traditional Chinese cuisine filled the air while family and friends gathered round bamboo dotted cocktail tables, laughing, hugging, and sharing moments together.
Here’s a tiny peek at their day. Enjoy!
Much love! TM
Not all the weddings I capture are grand affairs; some weddings are quick vows in a courthouse and some are serene living room soirees. Vicky & Simon tied the knot in a fashion true to their spirit and story.
Classic cars and trucks rolled up to a roadside chapel on this balmy Saturday afternoon. The intimate crowd of friends formed and gathered inside, buzzing with anticipation.
Vicky and Simon have been friends since high school. The entry to the chapel even displayed a sweet testament to their bond- a portrait of them at Senior Prom. Life had led them in different directions, but 40 years later!!! they got to marry "The One." My heart bursts with love for them. Here is a tiny peek at their day.
Last Friday, I had the honor and privilege of capturing Anna & Tim's intimate wedding at The Wishing Well in Saratoga Springs.
It's always amazing to share in the excitement and anticipation of a couple's Big Day, and this was no exception. I loved hearing their love story, meeting their family, and witnessing their daughter perform the ceremony. I can't imagine a more perfect way to kick-off Valentine's Day weekend. Here's a sneak peek at their day :)
Tim & Anna: Thanks so much for letting me capture your elopement, and a Big congratulations to you both!
