Sometimes life likes to test you- to make the seemingly simple become an endless maze of tasks to navigate before you reach your destination. This was the case for Tiffany & Joseph.
They began their elopement planning as any other couple, happily sorting out little details along the way until their vision was perfectly fleshed out. And then the first domino fell. Their venue fell through; their officiant fell ill; thunder and lightning threatened to cancel their mountaintop plans; and the governor stole their last location!
They persevered and with a little (literal) help from my friend, Meredith, who performed their ceremony at the last minute ( THANK YOU!!!), these two lovebirds said I do in a private ceremony by a waterfall’s edge while their 3 children looked on. They made it!!
Here’s a tiny peek at their day.
Guys… I already love what I do, SO much, but when I was invited to document a traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony, I kind of squealed with joy!
Angel & Ricky took over The Mansion inn for their intimate family affair. Their theme and attire was a nod to 1920’s Shanghai with so many details celebrating Angel’s Chinese heritage. The aroma of Chef Rick’s artfully prepared traditional Chinese cuisine filled the air while family and friends gathered round bamboo dotted cocktail tables, laughing, hugging, and sharing moments together.
Here’s a tiny peek at their day. Enjoy!
Much love! TM
