Tiffany & Joe's Minnewaska I Do's | New York Elopement Photographer

Sometimes life likes to test you- to make the seemingly simple become an endless maze of tasks to navigate before you reach your destination. This was the case for Tiffany & Joseph.

They began their elopement planning as any other couple, happily sorting out little details along the way until their vision was perfectly fleshed out. And then the first domino fell. Their venue fell through; their officiant fell ill; thunder and lightning threatened to cancel their mountaintop plans; and the governor stole their last location!

They persevered and with a little (literal) help from my friend, Meredith, who performed their ceremony at the last minute ( THANK YOU!!!), these two lovebirds said I do in a private ceremony by a waterfall’s edge while their 3 children looked on. They made it!!

Here’s a tiny peek at their day.

The Manor Farm Wedding

With Mother's Day around the corner, I have been thinking of a lovely couple I worked with last May. Nikki & Bob's 1 year anniversary is also coming up {Happy Anniversary Guys!} so I couldn't think of a more appropriate wedding to share with you.

It's a privilege to share in the emotion and love that gets poured into every wedding day I document; some tug at your heart strings that much more. Nikki lost her Mom to cancer before her Big Day, but that didn't keep her Mom's spirit from sharing in the celebration.

The Manor Farm is their labor of love together. Nikki & her Mom established a safe haven for farm animals in need of rescue. So when planning their Big Day, it was only fitting that Nikki and Bob, a farrier, celebrate their nuptials on site, surrounded by all that they love.

There were personal touches in every detail, the most heartfelt of which was a curio that served as both a tribute to Nicole's mom and as a presentation piece for hand made guest favors with messages of gratitude. Everything was perfect.

Take a peek at their Big Day below and go hug your Mom! (and Dad too) And a special Thank You to my partner in crime...or weddings, Katie, my amazing assistant and talented camera wielder. :)

Ashley & Mark- Historic Barns of Nipmoose: Saratoga Springs Wedding Photographer

I am a huge fan of romantic, rustic barn weddings so I was super excited when Ashley & Mark asked me to capture their Wedding Day at Nipmoose. Everyone had a blast despite the rainy day. Fire pits kept their guests warm while roasting marshmallows into the night. The dancing was awesome and the food and decor divine. Here's a look at some highlights from their day.  XO TM
