Michaele-Lynne & Josh's Winter Wedding: Saratoga Springs Wedding Photographer

Michaele-Lynne & Josh tied the knot in a storybook winter wedding last weekend. You last saw this adorable couple hanging out in Congress Park for their Engagement Shoot. The day began in Michaele-Lynne's family home, surrounded by close friends and loved ones. Every corner was beaming with light and every counter held treasures collected for their Big Day. I couldn't be more excited to capture every moment for them. Here's a tiny sneak peek. Congratulations guys!

Amy & Austin: A Crandall Park Engagement: Glens Falls Wedding Photographer

I spent an afternoon exploring Crandall Park with Amy & Austin on a wintery day last week. The park was bathed in gorgeous light and all the bridges and trees looked plucked from a the pages of a fairy tale. If not for the snow on the ground, you'd never have known from their faces that it was cold (okay, freezing!). Amy & Austin rocked their engagement session like troopers. Looking forward to capturing their fall wedding.  Here's a sneak peek from our shoot.

See you soon guys!

Thomas Is 6 Months Old! Saratoga Springs Family Photographer

This is Thomas...

You might remember him from Megan & TJ's maternity post HERE. Boy, how time flies, right?! I can hardly believe this cute little peanut is sitting up and hamming it up for the camera already. I was so honored to spend a Fall morning photographing Thomas, Megan & TJ. Such a beautiful, fun family! Here are some more shots from our Saratoga session.

Emily & Eric's Lake George Wedding

Eric & Emily tied the knot at their family camp last weekend, surrounded by the crimson and gold hues of autumn. Their cowboy-formal details included a custom leather-wrap for Emily's bouquet {featuring their logo!}, kick-ass belt buckles for the guys, and monogramed denim shirts for the ladies. Did I mention they have THE most adorable dog named Vegas? She made a few cameos too :) Here's a peek at their day.

Congratulations guys!

Sarah & Brian's Wedding Cruise

Last weekend, I had the pleasure of setting sail with this couple. After 4 years together, Sarah & Brian tied the knot aboard the Captain JP Cruise Line, surrounded by their beautiful daughters, their family, and friends. The boat cruised around Albany while guests danced and the sun set. And the evening was perfectly capped with fireworks display. Here's a look at their Big Day.

Thanks for having me be a part of it! Congratulations!

Ana & Ryan: Expecting: Saratoga Springs Family Photographer

It was so much fun to see these two again! I photographed Ana & Ryan's Saratoga wedding a couple of years back and I was super excited for them when I heard they were expecting a little baby girl this autumn. We got together at Yaddo Gardens for a maternity mini-session. Ana is rockin' this mama thing already! Here's a tiny peek at our shoot.

Kelly & Andrew: A Lakeside Lovestory

What a magical day! Really! Where do I start?

Kelly's family home on the lake was the intimate setting for her & Andrew's Big Day. The garden was meticulously landscaped and dotted with a treasure trove of ornaments and signs. The ceremony took place underneath the trellis that resembled a hidden door to an etherial world. A wooden farm table with lace runner flanked the edge of the lake. Did I mention there were shooting stars? A bald eagle even circled twice during the ceremony and the night was capped by a saucer-like crimson moon hanging in the sky. SO amazing! The perfect day for this beautiful couple.

Thanks for having me be a part of it!!

Hassa & Usha's 40th at Pasta Pane: Saratoga Springs Family Photographer

I love photographing weddings! I devote a lot of time witnessing and documenting couples take their vows and embark on a new journey together. It is such an honor to be chosen to photograph one of life's greatest moments.

Even more amazing is the privilege of capturing a couple's milestone anniversary. Last week, I got to do just that! Hassa & Usha celebrated their 40th Anniversary surrounded by their friends and loved ones. The room was filled with hugs, smiles, love & laughter. I wish this sweet, happy couple many more wonderful years together. Here's a peek at their anniversary gathering.

Congratulations!

Patty & Rob at Normanside Country Club

I want to start off by saying these guys ROCK! It was such a pleasure to meet up with them last weekend for their Big Day. And OMG their bridal party... a more fun group has never been seen!

From the minute Katie and I arrived at Normanside Country Club {Sidebar: Book this venue- awesome staff to work with!}, we were surrounded by luxe bridal party details, smiling faces, loving family, and the antics of a close knit group of friends. The energy carried into every part of the day from Getting Ready with the gals through the last dance of the night. And I don't need to tell you what a beautiful couple these two make. Take a peek for yourself!

Patty & Rob, thank you so much for a fun engagement session in Maine and allowing me to capture your beautiful wedding day! Hugs!!

Jessica & Joel in Saratoga State Park

I got to hang out with this cool California couple again, this time for their post- wedding engagement session. And, in case you were wondering, there are no timing rules for having your engagement shoot! It was kind of awesome to photograph them as Mr. & Mrs. in a casual setting. As always, it was a lot of fun and we had a few laughs in the process. Here's a tiny peek at our session.

Good to see you guys again!

Kelly & Andrew

I was so excited to meet up with Kelly & Andrew for their engagement shoot in Congress Park. The air was cool and the park was bathed in light, plus, we had the place almost entirely to ourselves. What more could you ask for?! Of course these two gave me the standard issue disclaimer about being in front of the camera (pssst: I hate having my picture taken too!), but clearly they are liars! Aren't they adorable!? Here's a sneak peek at their shoot.

Can't wait to see you guys in August!

Sarah & George's Big Day

Last weekend was HOT and this awesome couple managed to look absolutely fabulous despite the heat. Georges and Sarah tied the knot surrounded by friends and family at the Gideon Putnam Hotel in Saratoga State Park.

There were so many wonderful details from the featured drink, Caipirinhas, and brilliant colored floral arrangements celebrating George's Brazilian background, to the inclusion of their pooch Duncan (complete with bowtie), and flower girl dresses chosen to match the hand painted watercolor wedding stationery (designed by Sarah's bff). Here's a sneak peek at their day.

So beautiful! I had so much fun working with you guys! Congratulations!

Little Teagan

I frequently photograph families and little ones at key moments in their lives. I don't often get to blog sneak peeks when sessions take place during 'wedding season', but I thought I'd share a recent shoot. Meet Teagan: adorable, rosy-cheeked redhead who just celebrated her 1st birthday. I've never met a wee one so observant and calm; she watched my every move. I had fun capturing her interactions with her family members at a local park. She might have had fun too ;) Check out some snapshots from our session. Happy Birthday, Teagan!

Thinking About A Boudoir Session?

I'm often asked asked to photograph boudoir sessions immediately followed by, "...what is a boudoir session, anyway." The answer is, these sexy shoots come in all different shapes and sizes. So, I thought it best to discuss my approach and style here.

My version of boudoir involves capturing a woman (or man!) as she rarely gets to see herself. We are mother's, and care takers; wives and business women; healers and friends. And we are beautiful. There is real empowerment and strength in seeing yourself that way!

I photograph largely from a voyeur's perspective. And I'm not a fan of Pinterest poses or "glam" sessions. Yeah, I said it!

**I'll be offering a limited number of marathon boudoir sessions per year. Please call or email for more information.** Meanwhile, here's a peek at what a session with me looks like.
