Where are you located & Where do you travel to?

I am located in Saratoga Springs, New York. I am available to photograph anywhere there is love! But seriously, I travel throughout New York, New England and just about anywhere else. 

What is your style of photography?

I capture all of your important moments with a documentary approach, allowing you and your guests to be yourselves and enjoy your celebration. In other words, I'm a photojournalist and storyteller specializing in candid photography. 

I'm totally awkward/hate being in front of a camera.

Okay, this isn't a question, but it is something I hear often and it's a non-issue. Relax! Most of us mere mortals are awkward in front of a lens. I work to create a comfortable relationship with you, and photograph you in your natural state. This means, fun, no awkwardness, and beautifully authentic images. Win!

What makes you different from other photographers out there?

When you contract Trisha Millier Photography for your Big Day, you get ME! My pricing is comprehensive so you know what you are receiving- no hidden costs. And I don't limit the number of pictures you receive {I do favor Quality over Quantity!}. 

I personally photograph every wedding and edit your images. I arrive early and stay late when needed. And I'm available for my clients via text, email, phone, or carrier pigeon {that would be cool!} 24/7. I've also been known to tell bad jokes and make animal noises all in the name of helping my clients relax in front of the camera. 

Can you hold my date?

I accept bookings on a first come, first serve basis. Dates are reserved when your contract and retainer are received.

What is your background in photography?

My love affair with photography began long before the digital craze. My father's Minolta was slung around his neck for every vacation, birthday, and holiday celebration. And when dad wasn't looking it was in my little curious hands.

Photography became a passion for me- a way to explore life and preserve special moments as they unfolded around me. I have spent countless wonderful hours in community darkrooms, and honing my skills at Rockport College and the The Maine Photographic Workshops as well as The New York Institute of Photography. I continue to learn and expand in skillset through professional industry workshops. 

How do I book and what do I owe you?

A non-refundable retainer of $900 is due with your signed contract. The remaining balance is due one month prior to your wedding.

If I want more photography than I originally contracted, will you stay longer?

Absolutely! I only book one event per day, so I am all yours for as long as you need me.

When do I get my pictures & album?

All images are delivered within 6-9 weeks of your event, sometimes sooner. Albums and books take a little longer as they require consultation and design before heading to press.

Wedding galleries will typically be available for viewing prior to your archives and printed items.
